Paul was born in Cape Town and educated at Diocesan College (Bishops), whereafter he completed a B.Soc.Sci Llb at the University of Cape Town. After having completed his National Service Paul commenced his articles with the well known Cape law firm Buchanan Boyes & Klossers, and in January 1995 was admitted as an attorney and conveyancer. Paul was with STBB/Smith Tabata Buchanan Boyes (as they are now known) for 16 years, the last 10 of which as a director and the last 5 of which as an executive director responsible for the Retail Conveyancing Division of the firm across all regions and all branches. Paul resigned to fulfil a lifelong ambition to start his own legal services practise with like-minded thinking professionals. Paul was the Managing Director of Clark Cupido Attorneys from inception until end August, 2021 when Paul handed over the MD baton to Mandy Cupido, resigning as a director in order to relocate with his wife Tracy to the United Kingdom where Paul, in his new role as an Executive Consultant, is presently engaged with the setting up of a legal consultancy which will effectively operate as the UK branch of Clark Cupido Attorneys. Although Paul will be primarily resident in the United Kingdom, he will be travelling between South Africa and the United Kingdom as needs be in order to maintain his high level service delivery to his clients in both jurisdictions.
Mandy Cupido has a diverse and impressive resume to date. She has a B Soc Science degree from UCT and a BProc degree from UWC. Mandy completed her articles at CK Friedlander, Shandling & Volks where she was admitted as an attorney and later as a Conveyancer and Notary. Mandy then worked as a professional assistant at STBB Smith Tabata Buchanan Boyes and in a short period of time worked her way up to a directorship. After this, Mandy joined another medium sized law firm as head of Conveyancing. Tasneem is a senior associate attorney and conveyancer at Clark Cupido Attorneys.
With her knowledge and expertise in all aspects of property law and estate administration, Tasneem assists clients in fulfilling the duties of the executor as fast and efficiently as possible and offers legal advice and services on property law including general conveyancing practice, corporate real estate, conventional and sectional-title property transfers and mortgage bond registrations and cancellations (both residential and commercial). She has experience with small and large-scale developments having managed developments for large-scale South African property developers and major banks. Her experience in property law spans to drafting and reviewing of lease and sale agreements in both the residential and commercial spaces, preparing conveyancers certificates, attending to contractual sale disputes such as property defects and contractual breaches, landlord and tenant disputes and providing legal opinions, amongst others. In addition thereto, she assists clients with Will preparation and drafting and administers deceased estates ranging from insolvent estates to estates amounting to over R20 million.
Tasneem completed her LLB at Nelson Mandela University in 2015 and subsequently a Practical Legal Training course at UCT. She commenced articles in conveyancing and deceased estate administration at STBB in 2016 and was admitted as an attorney in 2017 whereafter she practiced for another year, before moving to the fiduciary field of deceased estate administration at Standard Bank trust for a year and a half and thereafter joining Clark Cupido. Tasneem passed her conveyancing exam with distinction, placing 1st in the Eastern Cape and top 10 in the country. She is currently completing her final year of her Masters in Commercial Law at the University of Cape Town specialising in Advanced Company Law, Advanced Intellectual Property Law, Advanced International Trade Law and Advanced Contract Law.

Kevin was educated at Rondebosch Boys High and the University of Cape Town where he obtained a BA LLB and Graduate Diploma in Tax Law.
Kevin is an attorney, notary and conveyancer and was a partner at STBB Smith Tabata Buchanan Boyes for 28 years specialising in conveyancing. Kevin retired from full time practice in 2017 and now is a consultant in the firm providing advice to the para-legal staff as well as checking and preparing deeds prior to lodgement in the Deeds Office.
Raphael is a practising attorney of the High Court of South Africa and non-practising solicitor of the Superior Courts of England and Wales and has in excess of 14 years’ post qualification experience. He worked as both external counsel for various large and prominent corporate law firms and as an in-house lawyer for large international corporates. In addition to advising small and large listed corporates on various corporate law, tax and mergers and acquisitions transactions, he has also been extensively involved in advising financiers, sponsors, EPC and O&M Contractors and major subcontractors on energy and infrastructure projects on a global scale. Qualifications BA LLB Higher Diploma in Tax Law (UCT), Attorney of the High Court of South Africa (since 2005), Solicitor of the Superior Courts of England and Wales (since 2010. Specialisations Mergers and Acquisitions, Banking and finance, Energy and infrastructure, and Tax.
Samantha completed her BA LLB at the University of Cape town in 1992. Samantha joined Macleod’s Attorneys in Sea Point where she completed her articles and was admitted as an Attorney in December 1995 and as a Notary in February 1997. Having spent two years at Macleod’s gaining experience in personal injury matters, Samantha then left for the UK, securing a position with Hammond Suddards Solicitors in Manchester in their Insolvency Department. Samantha re-qualified as a solicitor in March 1999. In 2005 Samantha returned to Cape Town with her young family and has been working at Clark Cupido Attorneys in their Conveyancing department since February 2013.
